I grew up in Hyde Park until the age of 16 when my family moved to Wilmette to be in the New Trier Township High School District - my alma mater. I then went on to study design at Columbia College. While my family might argue that I wasted some serious cash on a design degree, I believe my design background serves my real estate clients well - it has allowed me to rework layouts and choose finishes that sell and stage homes appropriately.My favorite thing about Chicago is its distinctly unique neighborhoods. I have lived in West Town, Lincoln Park, Bucktown, Lakeview, Logan Square and I now reside in Ravenswood Manor.My partner and I bought a two-unit building in Logan Square in 2017. The first floor unit of our building was a hair salon for over 30 years. Seeing as I still can’t figure out how to properly blow dry my own hair, we remodeled the hair salon into a live-work loft and rented out the top floor to lovely tenants. It was a big project, but absolutely worth the work! It became a place to call home a bit, as well as a solid investment. After years of eyeing the neighborhood, my husband Mark and I bought a classic Chicago bungalow in Ravenswood Manor. It, too, needed a lot of updates. Our 1916 home had some real 70s vibes with a bright pink room and green shag carpet. We finished our renovations just in time to welcome our daughter Penelope “Penny” into the world in 2020.I spend most of my time in the spring and summers supporting my clients in buying and selling real estate, which is my true passion. When I'm not working, you'll likely find me at the park or strolling with my wild toddler. When real estate slows down in the winter, I love to travel - my goal is to visit 100 countries.
